The former Royal residence of Maharaja of Jaipur has been converted into a hotel. Rambagh Palace has located 8 km outside the walls of the city on Bhawani Singh Road. The first building was made in 1835 for wet-nurse of prince Ram Singh II. This house was situated amid the forest, and in 1887 it was converted into a modest Royal Hunting Lodge. It was expanded as a Royal Palace in early 20th century.

One of the best preserved Fort of India, Mehrangarh Fort stands 100 ft high on a perpendicular cliff. It was built in 1460 by Rao Jodha and is enclosed by thick walls. There is a museum inside the Fort which takes us to the era of Rathores. Their arms, clothes, paintings and decorated period rooms are well-preserved.
